Liam Syed is a freelance journalist and photographer based in London. His photographic work aims to restore humanity to marginalised communities and capture moments of beauty that persist in the face of systemic oppression.

Liam has reported from Ukraine, Palestine, Syria, Jordan and Egypt. He has published with Monocle, Tribune Magazine, The New Arab and Novaria Media whilst also working on a documentary which received UNESCO funding.
